   But now it’s all “I’m gay, so I can’t possibly support homophobic bullshit!” That’s not how it works. If you are defending someone’s right to use Gay as an INSULT, then you are part of the problem. Doesn’t matter what gender you bang.

   I am a gay male college student living in the United States, and over the years I’ve overcome many obstacles of life. One hurtle I am yet to jump over is coming out to all of my family. Some people think it’s no big deal that people have to hide the fact that they are gay from people, but they’re wrong. There are many things I can’t do because of the fear of being rejected because of my sexuality… I can’t ever come home from a date and tell anybody about them, I can’t say how sweet my boyfriend is, and I cannot post things to my profiles that are on my mind. I can’t share a lot of things about myself because of the fear of family and friends not approving and leaving. It’s just one of many issues that come with being a gay male in the United States.
